A RENAISSANCE IS NOW ART EXHIBITION

Opening December 10th, 2022, Deep Roots Experience presents “A Renaissance is Now. Inspired
by the artistic eye of creatives like James Van Der Zee, Carrie Mae Weems, and Gordon Parks,
“A Renaissance is Now” is an exhibition capturing the particularities, struggles, strengths, and
celebrations of modern black and brown culture. In the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance, this
photography exhibition shines a light on the lifestyle of America’s most influential communities.

The exhibition will include works from Asia Armour, Manny Wallace, Kenyatta Crisp, Bee1ne, and
more. The show is the first of a 3 part series titled “Curated”. The series includes “Dope Boy
Chic” and “Anything But A Canvas”, both opening in 2023.
