DUST AND RAINBOWS

What We See If We See -

A short literary arts video produced by SWOB and Directed by Chris Webb for SWOB's Dust and Rainbows capsule collection + retail activation. Created in partnership with Xhibition for the 2022 FRONT International Triennial. This short video features four literary artists: Shatara Jordan (Mixxed Rose), JB Banks, Kelli Price and LaVon Shepherd (Quiet Kid), responding to Langston Hughes' "Two Somewhat Different Epigrams" in their own words. The video connects the voices and experiences of young Cleveland-based literary artists to a rich legacy of renaissance and resistance pioneered by Hughes, who attended high school in Cleveland.
